From brief to final file in around two weeks.

Every project follows the same six-stage process. You approve each stage before we move to the next, so there are no surprises and nothing gets animated until we are aligned.

The process

Six stages. One flat fee.

Script development through to delivery — everything below is included in your project fee. No hidden costs at any stage.

01

Script and narrative

We start with a briefing call to understand your product, your audience, and the action you want viewers to take. From that we write a script — tight, purposeful, and shaped for animation rather than print.

If you already have a script we will review it and flag anything that needs adjusting before production begins. A well-written script is the single biggest factor in how good the final video is.

What you approve

The full script with scene-by-scene notes. We do not move forward until you are happy with the words.

  • Briefing call included — no extra charge
  • Unlimited script revisions at this stage
  • We write from scratch or refine what you have
02

Storyboard

Once the script is locked, we map out every scene visually. The storyboard is a rough panel-by-panel plan of what will appear on screen at each point in the voiceover — layout, movement, text, and transitions.

This is the cheapest point in the process to make structural changes. Moving a scene here takes minutes; moving it after animation has started takes hours.

What you approve

A complete visual plan of the video. Every scene accounted for before a single frame is animated.

  • Full scene-by-scene breakdown
  • Notes on transitions and movement
  • Easiest stage to request structural changes
03

Style frames

Before any animation begins, we produce a set of static style frames — fully designed, polished mockups of three to five key scenes. These lock in the colour palette, typography, illustration style, and overall visual direction.

Style frames are where your brand guidelines come in. We work within your existing visual identity — or help define one if you are starting from scratch.

What you approve

The full visual direction of the video. Once agreed, these become the reference for every frame that follows.

  • Colour, type, and illustration style locked in
  • Brand guidelines applied throughout
  • Revisions included before animation starts
04

Animation

With script, storyboard, and style frames approved, production begins. We animate every scene to the voiceover, applying timing, easing, and motion principles that make the content feel considered rather than mechanical.

We use AI-assisted tools at specific points in production to move faster — but every creative decision, every motion curve, and every design choice is made by our team.

What you receive

A complete draft of the animation with voiceover and music, ready for your review.

  • Full video produced to approved brief
  • Voiceover and music included
  • AI-assisted workflow for faster turnaround
05

Revisions

You review the draft and send feedback. We make changes. Repeat until you are completely satisfied. There is no revision limit and no revision charge — this is part of the project fee.

In practice most projects need one or two rounds of minor tweaks at this stage, because the earlier approval stages catch the big things early.

How it works

Send feedback by email, Loom, or a shared document — whatever works for you. We turn around revision rounds quickly.

  • Unlimited rounds — no cap, no charge
  • Quick turnaround on each round
  • Project closes only when you sign off
06

Delivery

Final files delivered in every format you need. We package the output for wherever you plan to use it — website, social media, presentations, sales decks, or broadcast — without you having to ask for specific formats separately.

You also receive the project source files if required, so you can make minor updates yourself in future without needing to come back to us for every small change.

What you receive

All final files, all formats, all aspect ratios — delivered in one organised package.

  • MP4 for web and social, MOV for presentations
  • 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16 aspect ratios included
  • Source files available on request

Questions about the process

What people ask before they start

Not much. A rough brief is enough to get started — what the video is for, who will watch it, and what you want them to do afterwards. We handle everything from there. The more context you can share, the better, but you do not need a finished script or a detailed spec.
Yes. If you have a hard deadline, let us know upfront and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it. Rush projects are possible for straightforward briefs. The timeline above is a standard pace — we can move faster when needed.
Minor post-delivery changes — a pricing update, a URL swap, a reworded line — are usually quick and inexpensive. Structural changes to an approved and delivered video are quoted separately. This is why we put so much emphasis on approvals during production: it protects you as much as us.
However works best for you. Email, a shared Google Doc, a Loom recording, or timestamped notes on the video — we are flexible. We will agree on a feedback method at the start that suits your team and your working style.
No. The entire process runs remotely. We work with clients across the UK and have never needed a face-to-face meeting to produce excellent work. The briefing call is typically a video call; everything else is handled by email and file sharing.
